A cold, bright and sunny December day saw us heading to the beautiful Kent countryside to facilitate a client's annual team day.

This year they wanted to use the opportunity to look back over the work they have done this year, celebrate their successes, look forward to 2012 and also have a chance to do something a bit different as a team away from the office.

To help with the review of the year we arranged for some of the internal customers to record on video their thoughts about why the team are so successful and what contributions they bring to the organisation. Add to this the team's own thoughts and the session generated a real feeling of pride in the work they have done this year.

The same customers were asked how the team could be even more effective in 2012 and this generated plenty of discussion, ideas and plans to be carried forward in the New Year.

After a hearty, farm-produced lunch the team headed out across the fields to take part in a team challenge - a quad bike obstacle course and the blindfold Land River driving! These were run by our partner on the day, Ian Wright Events, and proved to be a great hit! Not literally, thankfully.

The response to the day has been fantastic, proving that you can mix both business and pleasure in a day that is memorable and motivational.

If you would like your team to benefit from one of our specially designed team events, then please get in contact with us and we'd be happy to help.
